These are not very durable so I question how long they would last with a toddler with rough play. These did remind me of the old time tradition of kids receiving wooden toys as a Christmas gift so I intend on gifting these to a young child to put up as a keepsake.

Nice rhythm set for toddlers
I run a toddler music program and we use a lot of instruments. This is a nice set I could comfortably recommend. I like many similar sets, every piece in this set is a playable instrumentâsome include various toys for some reason. Kid favorites in this set are the single note chime and the small cymbalsâthe kids like hanging them together, grownups will like that they arenât too terribly loud. I do tend to cut the little balls off of the drum in sets like thisâour toddlers tend to the younger side and those are a choking hazard if they detach and itâs just as easyâand more musicalâto play it with a hand or small stick. Itâs also fairly compact and easy to store. Happy with this set!
