Product Description
Spin
Place foam tiles on the floor. Whoever is the “spinner” shouts “THE FLOOR IS LAVA!” and everyone else rushes to stand on any tile. The “spinner” then spins to determine the “safe color.”
Move
The “spinner” calls out the “safe color” that the spinner landed on. Players must then jump to a tile of that color.
Remove a Tile
Whoever is last to reach a tile has their original tile removed by the “spinner.”
Play to Win!
If you step in the lava, you are out! To win, be the last player standing!

Fun for kids
My 5 year old loves this game but it’s also good for older children, my 10 year old niece also loves this game. It comes with cards and a spinner to turn it into a game . Super easy to use and super fun.

So fun!
Our entire family (including teenagers) love this game! Easy enough for Littles to play, fun enough for all ages, quick pick up. Perfect!

Flimsy stepping stones
While the game itself seems very fun for a 6 year old, the stepping pieces aren’t big enough for larger feet and they are a very flimsy flannel. I’m not sure how to make them stronger because laminating would make them too slippery? It seems like the game should just have pieces make of sturdier thicker flannel that is larger.

Wears kids out!
Got this for my nieces and it wore them out! I played it with them but the smallest tiles are really too small for adults, I might get the other version that is for adults too, might have more larger tiles and I’ll just combine them. Eventually I got tired and just sat on the couch and became the spinner and card reader. They usually take a few hours after going to their room to fall asleep but then konked out like 20 minutes after getting in their bed. Really fun game, I’d highly recommend it but keep in mind the smallest tiles, there are three sizes, are too small for adults so you can’t really play it with them.

Fun Twist to a Family Favorite
You may be thinking why do I need a floor is lava game when the kids will just jump on pillows… well this game adds new twists to the old classic. There’s colors you have to land on depending on the spinner, you remove tiles so it gets harder as the game goes on, and there are fun cards that go with tiles the kids have to do.Our 4 year old will play it alone and we also break it out when cousins come to visit. The kids all try to go for the special tiles to get the cards as they find it so fun. We do typically play with younger kids (age 3-7) but our preteen has enjoyed playing it as well. That being said the tiles are very thin foam which may be a turn off for some but we’ve had the game for months and they haven’t torn or anything.

Fun active game
I was hopeful that my kids could play this alon when they had friends over but since someone has to spin and then read the cards, definitely needs an older kid or adult so all kids can play
