Surprisingly good deckbuilder that nails the GI Joe theme
The bad – poorly written rulebook, some of the art is a bit meh, there are only 2 missions in the base game, and with so many Joe’s not all of them are in the base game. The good – everything else. The game is well designed, plays well, and captures the feel of the old GI Joe cartoons and toys. The missions have a fair amount of variability, the art for the missions and Cobra commanders is quite well done (except Major Bludd), and the game is an absolute blast. The marque Joe’s are all featured in the game, and there are over 40 GI Joe’s in the base game. I have played the game over a dozen times, and looking forward to the next dozen. Great game, highly recommend to any GI Joe fans. Yo Joe!

Great game solo or with a friend.
Honestly this has a great value for its price. I can play 2-3 games in a night by myself with a fast set up time once i realizede how it’s played. Which when it clicked i had a “you clever girl” moment. It’s a pretty well thought out system and easy to learn. Even easier to teach if you have it fully understood. It also has cards to make it harder if you are just that good to spice things up. I haven’t touched the expansions yet but i have bought and looked at them. They add more depth to the games and add more mission options. For me this was a gut feeling buy and i am really happy with this company. I hope to try out more like it in the future. Very tough
This is a very fun game. Well balanced if the dice do not hate you. It is fun to recruit the Joes from the T.V. Show and try to complete the missions. There is a nice variety. The artwork is great. My only beef is I have played it at least 5 times and not won once. It is fun to play however, I just wish there was a rule that if you could offer up enough dice to double the success score it is an instant success.

Awesome game!
Whether you grew up with G.I. Joe in the 80âs like me or just like playing games, you need to get this game. For me, I was a fan of the cartoon and comics so this really hit the spot. A fun way to immerse yourself in the Joe universe. A must have! The rule book has errors in it, which is a downer, but going online can answer any questions you have.

I have played this game many times.The mechanics of the game are very simple, but there is a specific order to play that must be kept in mind. To do this, there are cards and tokens to help you remember all the specifics. The game features your favourite Joes trying to foil the plans of the Enemy, Cobra. Play your Joes against two unique plots, gaining bonus cards such as weapons, Joe allies, vehicles, and other unique cards. Many of thefamiliar characters and vehicles are found within the game, with expansion packs on the way!

Everything looks great! Except! The rule book seems like it was very rushed, I haven’t played yet because I can’t figure out how to set everything up! I see reviews saying it’s a fun game, but I’m going to have to learn to play from somewhere else.

Fun but Confusing at First
The rule book for this game is a messâitâs not always clear, and the order of information leaves a lot to be desired. But, the game is pretty fun once you get into itâit really feels like playing through episodes of the old cartoonâand the art is fantastic. Iâm happy I bought it and Iâll probably get the expansion pack thatâs due out soon.

La verdad me ha gustado bastante, no soy muy fan de los gi joe y tenia mis dudas pero las mercancÃas me han gustado mucho como funcionan, no es nada del otro mundo o super original pero si son diferentes, me ha gustado mucho, yo creo pronto comprare alguna de las expansiones para seguir probando este juego, hasta ahora llevo 7 partidas pero me han divertido y no se sienten repetitivas
