Just my opinion –
Great game with so many options of play for various ages
I purchased this game after reading other reviews, however; when I received the game and actually played it with my 4 year old grandson, I realized the ways this game can grow with a child. We also played it with our 2 year old grandson, who was able to just use the “chopsticks” to pull out the various color ingredients and place them in the correct color bowl. The “chopsticks” are great for building little hand muscles and working on their dexterity. The only thing I didn’t like about the game was that it only came with 2 egg halves and one of the ways suggested to play requires you acquire an egg half to complete your bowl. I then realized that for an older child, you could play using the red pepper strategy of making someone who has the egg half have to empty their bowl of ingredients by giving them the red pepper so that if you didn’t have an egg half, you could try and get it that way. Of course, this stragegy play is for much older children. For that reason, I found some half egg Croc |”zobbotz” (charms) that look like egg halves to add to our game so we can still play until our grandchildren are old enough to understand the strategy concept and can still complete collecting all their ingredients (including enough egg halves for eveyone) to win. I love that the game comes with directions for various ways to play and enjoy the game. It’s fun for eveyone and little ones can even play on their own.

Cute and quality
Our family loves Learning Resources and I knew this game wouldn’t disappoint. As a homeschooling family we’re always looking for good resources, and this is a great game to add to our collection. There are instructions for multiple ways to use the set, multiple games and variations which makes it easy for the kids to imagine up different ways to use it, too!

Wonderful teaching toy
Itâs fun and educational. You hand a card to the child with an âorderâ. They count out the number of noodles and other contents to put in a bowl to bring to you. There are âchopsticksâ for picking up the food items which help with hand eye coordination.

Super cute family game!
I got this for my 3 year old who loves food toys and he took to this very fast! Out of the toddler games, this is the first that he asks to play and sits down to play it out. I love the soft, but firm textures of the pieces so theyâre easy to grab with the chopsticks and the big, easy to follow picture cards for the âorderâ game. This game comes with instructions to play 3 different game versions which helps keep it fresh for the kids.Only thing I donât care for is that it only comes with 2 egg pieces. I get you can knock them out of the other playerâs bowl with a chili pepper, but it really limits the game at times. Wish it included a total of 4 at least, but other than that, itâs a solid, fun game to play. Definitely recommend.

Great game!
Kids loved this. They’re in elementary school for age reference. Their favorite is Ramen Buffet where you need to make a bowl of ramen consisting of one of each ingredient and four noodles. This is by far one of their favorite games right now and has a lot of replay value for them.Foods are well made and box feels sturdy. The cards for one of the other games could be a bit thicker considering this is listed for 4+, but I have no comment beyond the feel as my kids haven’t played with that particular game part yet. Think really thin plastic for how the cards feel and bend. They could easily get bent in half and heavily creased.Possible change of rules in Ramen Buffet for a longer play and not a guaranteed win for the first player minus a chili pepper being played: The rules say to spin again if you land on a food you already have. We tried not getting to spin again and it made it less of an advantage for the first player.

3,5& 7 yr old boys love this
My kids love playing with this and have so many options. I love that it helps with fine motor skills and has several game options. They also just enjoy playing with the pieces when they play kitchen or shop. I do not love that some of the pieces are small enough to be a choking hazard.

perfect!
This game is awesome. Unique, well made parts/pieces, and several ways to play! For now my nephew enjoys sorting ingredients and filling our bowls as we ask but I can tell this game will grow with him.

Fun FM game for Pencil Grasp and other skills
I use this game in Occupational therapy sessions because it can encourage tripod grasp for writing (by practicing with tongs), visual scanning/discrimination, executive functioning and social skills!

My kids love this and seems to develop their motor skills well. I also use this for open ended play and appreciate that thereâs something Asian for them to play with instead of the usual cupcake sets or Western food sets.

This is another fabulous toy from Learning Resources. Our kids range from 3-9yo and they all love it! It has lots of options for set play and is also great for more open ended play. The pieces are excellent quality as well. Highly recommend this. We will continue to purchase Learning Resources toys as they have never let us down!
