Super awesome set for sensory bins! A variety of tools so they can move from one activity to another.

great kit, but it can be hard to use
This little set is wonderful for helping kids with their fine motor skills, but there are a couple things I dont love…The alligator tweezers are VERY hard to squeeze together. With most of these types of tweezers I have encountered, they are usually too flimsy- so its nice they are sturdy, but my 3 year old son cant use them… which defeats the purpose. Even for me they are difficult to use because they are very blunt on the end on top of the difficulty with squeezing them so they are not practical for picking up really anything in the sensory bins except maybe very large pom poms or something….also the scissor hold tongs with the ball on the end (sorry I have no idea what it is called) is made so that the half circles pop off the handle when my son pulls on them. They snap right back in place and work just like they did before, so that is great- but he likes to pull them off and then they can become a choking hazard for the baby or get lost if I am not paying close enough attention.Other wise, they are very sturdy and my son loves them. The yellow pinchers and the dropper are his favorite and work entirely as intended. This is a fun set for sensory bins and bath time. I would definitely recommend it. I do wish they would at least re-think the alligator tweezers and make them more child friendly though….

All of my kids love these! Great for sensory and gross motor
My son has some trouble with his fine motor skills and he was thrilled to play with this set as well as his 8 year old brother and 2 year old sister. The only thing my 2 year old couldn’t handle was the yellow squeeze tool because in order to open it you squeeze and scoop, then let go to close because it’s pressured shut. She could open it but can’t understand she has to let go to “capture” the rice inside it. She still had fun playing with it however. The tweezers were not hard to squeeze as one review I read said. The scissor grip tool is slightly less durable than the other tools so if your kids rough house with them then they might break but my kids are hard on things and it hasn’t broken yet. These are fun for them to use with their sensory bins/experiments and offers a nice variety of tools for children to use with various activities to strengthen their fine motor skills.

Fun grabber tools!
My toddler loves using these with all sorts of textures! Digging, grabbing and sorting all sorts of materials! Easy to maneuver for small hands. He is 2 years old. Most of our sensory bins incorporate them.

Not what I expected.
Very cheap plastic. Breaks easily. The tongs were hard to manipulate. Would not recommend.

These are so useful! I love the ones that mimic the scissors
These are so useful! I love the ones that mimic the scissors. I have the hardest time trying to teach my son how to use scissors. He does great with these. They really have improved his fine motor skill. IF your kiddo needs a fun and entertaining way to learn. These are very durable and well made. I do not have to worry if parts are going to come off. Highly reccommend these. How I base my reviews-1 star- This item is horrible, disappointing and I will be returning it.2 stars- means there was something I may have liked, but very little and I still feel disappointed3 stars- It is SO-SO there’s nothing particularly wrong with it.. it’s okay and do not feel like I wasted my money-4 stars- I like it- Higher than average in general, or several aspects really stand out and it would be a five star if it weren’t for one or two things that are only fair or less than fair. (price vs product). It is worth purchasing again.5- I LOVE it! I would not think twice about purchasing another one for myself or for a gift. This means you should purchase it as well.
