A fun toy firetruck!
My son is very into firetrucks and though this one does not make a sound/noise like his previous trucks, I was very pleased with this toy’s quality, durability, and size!*Quality = The toy is made of recycled plastic, which is very eco-friendly!*Design = The toy is a standard firetruck design and it comes with two little ladders on the side that can be taken out and the main ladder, which rotates 360 degrees.*Size = I must admit I didn’t check the size/dimensions of this toy, so I was surprised that it was quite a huge toy. Not big enough that it can be ridden around (which my child tried to do haha) but a decently-sized toy.*Durability = When it comes to handling his belongings, my son isn’t the most careful, and oftentimes his toys get flung everywhere. So far this toy has held up quite well and has survived being dropped and tossed around.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and my son loves it so much that I decided to get him a second one!

I cannot say enough good things about this toy. We bought this for our daughter for her 3rd birthday because she is obsessed with fire trucks and we are obsessed with keeping harmful chemicals out of our home.We searched for a fire truck that was lacking the lights and noise makers that are so typical of every single toy these days. We were ecstatic when we found one that is also a green product and made in the USA!We are very impressed by how simple and durable this toy is. The plastic is of excellent quality; it is thick/heavy gauge and has a nice feel to it. The truck rolls great – speedy and straight.As a side note, our daughter also received a much larger, very fancy fire truck with many moving parts, flashing lights, sounds, etc. and she actually plays with this little fire truck more! Sheâs really into using her imagination right now, so I think thatâs why sheâs favoring the simpler truck. The fancy truck is so realistic that itâs limiting. The Green Toys fire truck allows her the flexibility to play however she wants.We are so impressed with this toy and this company that weâve already bought the pink dump truck for our daughterâs 1yr old cousin so we could spread the word to new parents that safe, high quality, durable, well made, non toxic toys are available at a very reasonable price and made in the USA. At under $20 for many of the toys, they are perfect for gifts, toy drives, grab bags or rewards.We wish we knew about Green Toys sooner. I have nothing but good to say about anything I’ve bought from Green Toys. They are all high quality & safe which is very important for me as a parent, but they are also very fun for the children as well!I have purchased the following from Green Toys & all get 5 stars: Boat (excellent in helping to wash hair as you will see by my review for that item); Truck w/ car on the back; and the toolbox.The only minor complaint is the turning of the wheels. Other reviewers mention it & I have to agree. On certain flooring the wheels don’t turn very well & sometimes not @ all. This would not keep me from buying it though especially for 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 year olds.I love how durable this truck is (and all the other Green Toys products) & that it can easily be washed. You can soap & water it anytime.This firetruck has a white ladder on each side that will help teach eye hand coordination. They will need help sliding this in & out, but eventually will be able to do on their own. The ladder on top spins & can go up & down.Even though it is not meant as a ride on – it is so cute b/c little one’s attempt to sit on it. I don’t know what it is, but it is very sweet to see. They put the ladder on top up in the air & sit on it & it is like the ladder is their steering wheel or something.For so many reasons, this item as well as several other Green Toys items are highly recommended. They are fun, safe & made in the USA!

Perfect for a toddler!
My grandson loves it and it’s holding up well. The only complaint I have is one of the ladders on the side of the truck doesn’t stay in place but otherwise it keeps him busy and that makes me happy nana!

Green Toys really do make lovely hard wearing and tactile play things and over the last year or so I’ve bought my grandchildren a few of their products.Firstly they are well made and have a texture to the plastic that is slightly soft. It’s not but it kind of feels that way. The designs are interesting for little ones to be able to use without any fiddly bits. Strong too. So far my grandson of three who could stand in for Bam-Bam has not managed to cause any damage to any of the Green Toys yet.And of course they are ‘green.’ They are made from recycled plastic which might not save the world but does help a bit.Overall I really love this as do my grandchildren.
