Honestly pretty impressive percussion set
tl;dr: This is a great percussion set for kids who want some percussion instruments to play around with. The construction is solid and feels durable, it’s mostly made out of wood, and I can see this encouraging children to become more involved in music overall. Who knows, something like this set could inspire a child to pursue percussion more seriously moving forward.I admittedly got this set as a cheap way to fill in some gaps in percussion instruments for recording, namely the egg shaker and a small riq. I had zero expectations of these being super high quality instruments, but for the price, I’m quite impressed. The construction is mostly wood, and everything feels very sturdy. There’s quite a variety of different instruments here, so I’ll try to categorize them.Best: egg shaker, double rattle, triangleAlright: riq/pandeiro/tambourine, glockenspiel (C major scale)Not great: naruko-esque clapperHonestly, after a bit of practice, I’m able to get some resonant sounds out of the egg shaker and double-rattle, and they each have a distinct timbre. The triangle has a nice decay to it. All three of these are basically ready for me to record on. The riq (or pandeiro, tambourine, whatever you want to call it) is passable, but the “skin” is quite floppy and made out of plastic, so I probably won’t record much with it, but it’s certainly fun to play. The glockenspiel plays a diatonic C major scale, and the lower notes are more in-tune than the higher notes; the B and high C are particularly flat, and none of the keys are that resonant, especially compared to the Orff two-octave chromatic glockenspiel that I typically record on. I have a lot of trouble getting a consistent rhythm with the naruko-like clapper instrument, and I don’t think I’ll really be using that much.Of course, take all of the above with a grain of salt because I’m definitely not the target demographic here. I think that any child who enjoys music or making sounds would absolutely love this set, and it’s certainly much better than those 100% plastic “music” sets that are floating around out there. I would’ve loved this as a kid, and I’ll certainly be able to use some of these to record now.

Wonderful gift!
I love everything about this set!It came in a well packed amazingly small box that was nicely designed with no extra fluff, cardboard filler or spaces. How wonderful, it came with a thank you for purchasing card too!My granddaughter loves playing with the different instruments. At this stage at 10-11 months she is mostly enjoying the rattles and xylophone. The finish is smooth and the colors are nice and I feel appropriate. The set seems pretty sturdy and well made.I highly recommend this well thought out set.

Music
My grandkids loved making music and making noise. I’m glad it is built sturdy so when they get tired or mad with each other they won’t easily destroy it!

The best complete musical instrument set for toddlers!
This is such a fun, complete and well made set of musical instruments for little kids. Weâve had many, and this is the only set that includes less common instruments like the maracas and clapper for percussion. There is a greater variety of instruments and sounds to explore and discover, and our toddlers have more fun and play longer with this set.The wood is smooth and nicely finished – no weird sharp edges or splinters to be found. The paint is nontoxic, so I can feel good about our toddlers playing with these. The paint colors are very tasteful pastel neutrals that look pretty just sitting there too.The value is excellent for the quality – the instruments actually sound pretty good! Most of the toddler instruments weâve had sounded cheap and tinny. These arenât made for the orchestra, sure, but they do offer a high quality introduction to the joy of making noise and eventually perhaps fostering a childâs desire to make music. We love that for our 3- year olds, and love that itâs well made enough to be passed down to their little sister as she grows into toddlerhood.

Great musical set
This musical set is great. Every instrument sounds good especially the xylophone is in tune, which it’s sometimes not the case with other options I tried. My baby loves to play with them. We’re just keeping the triangle and the one that claps away for now. I also love the colors and they look great in the nursery when not in use.

Study and fun!
My 15 month old grandson is really enjoying this musical set. The kit has lots of fun items for him to explore and experiment with. He loves the shaaka shaaka toys (that is what we call the maraca) and banging on the xylophone. All the toys are great for a toddler. I am always present when he is using the toys, but I have no concerns with safety or breakage. The tambourine specifically is VERY sturdy. My grandson loves throwing it to hear it jingle and it is still going strong.

Overall ok but should pay attention to details
The quality did not meet my expecting. Some surface is rough with tiny wood stick. The size is right for kids.

Nice Musical Toy Set, My Baby Love It!
Our baby loves music and this musical toy set works very well for her. I like the design of all the toys in the set. The soft colors look pretty, the shapes of the toys are cute as well. All the toys are nicely manufactured, I didn’t find any issue on the made quality. Once I opened the package, I played all the toys to my baby. She is attracted to these toys right away, eyes wide open, even reached out and wanted to touch the toys despite she is only 3 months old still. I can see from her reaction that she is gonna love these toys for quite a while. Overall, I am pretty happy with this musical toy set and I think it is a good one!
