This is positively wonderful! Fisher-Price has outdone themselves with this AFFORDABLE, wooden, picnic basket set! .ð¦ As the saying goes “PRESENTATION IS EVERYTHING” and this did NOT disappoint!(I’m bummed as I had taken the cardboard label off and had to reattach for my photo).The label/tag is one continuous piece which wrapped all the way around and included the top “lid”. The lid was neatly attached with brown straw bows on each side. The liner strings were centered & woven through a small area both front and back, also tied in a cute bow. It sounds silly but it was one of those “awe.. it’s absolutely precious” moments where you clap your hands together and make that silly awe face. ðððThey took great care to ensure this arrived damage free as each piece was individually wrapped and taped.ð¥ There are 31 pieces:𧺠1 wicker picnic basket. It’s lightweight but appears to be constructed with kiddo use in mind.ð 1 Red checkered blanket (no emoji for that one or the next) ð¥ 1 brown cardboard serving trayð¥17 play food pieces including fruit, cheese, bread that can be “cut” in â slices attached with velcro.ð¶1 carton of juiceâ 2 cupsð¥2 platesð¥ð´6 utensilsEven though this is wooden, all pieces are smooth as butter! Outstanding quality! My grandkids LOVE this set!
If you are considering this item, get it! I ordered this for my grandkids (ages 3 years, 2 years, 1 year, 6 mos, and 2 mos) to play with at my house. It’s wonderful for all of them. The 6 month old likes to hold onto the cake pieces, which are large and don’t present a choking risk. The older ones use the whole set for pretend play and they love it. The pieces are very well made out of high quality materials. The lettuce and cheese are made of a soft, felt material, but are both extremely durable and are holding up well to toddler play. The other pieces are made of wood and have held up to being chewed on, stepped on, and thrown. Even the basket is really nice and durable, and makes it easy to store all the pieces when the grandkids aren’t here. This wooden picnic playset is just perfect all around. I highly recommend it.PROS: well made; quality materials; kids love to play with it; durable; easy storage in basketCONS: absolutely NONE

Adorable fun pretend play picnic set
This is an adorable and super fun pretend play picnic basket. IT comes with everything you need – Over a dozen pieces of food, cutlery, plates, cups, “blanket” and basket totaling more than 30 pieces. They are all made of wooden or fabric materials, nothing is plastic which is really nice. Everything feels sturdy and durable. My 2 year old really loves playing with them, pretending to make lunch and take it places with me or her dolls. Definitely a great quality set providing hours of pretend play and fun! Works for using in a play kitchen as well. Highly recommend.

Beloved toy for almost 2 year old
I got this as a gift for my “niece” (friend’s daughter). She loves it! It’s one of her current favorite toys which is strewn throughout the house. Luckily she’s good at cleaning up her toys, or else I’d be in trouble!Very good quality. Should last forever. Can be used stand alone or with a kitchen. Has been great for her imagination and pretend play. She is making lots of yummy treats to cut and share.

Nice – but since it is Fisher Price I expected so much more
This is a beautiful basket with nice wooden pieces but, since Fisher Price has given my family some of our best toys for decades, I was expecting so much more. I saw the brand and ordered too quickly as it looks like the picture. Here are the things I was disappointed in just in case they matter to you:- no top to the basket.- set-up is for 2, but there is only 1 sandwich and no other entree is provided.- plates are simply round disks;- nothing to connect sandwich makings together, the bread is wood and the rest is felt.- I donât really understand the light cardboard to hold the sandwich?- wood pieces are good but not amazing.- wish the fruit was larger so it would not be a choking hazard for younger siblings who will also want to play with this.- very pricey at current price of around $40.I never though I wouldnât be able to recommend a Fisher Price product but this just doesnât reach the high bar I expect from this price and this company.
