The dino assembles pretty easily and provides a lot of fun — the spitting function of discs provided hours of playtime and imagination on what the dino would attack.It’s a pretty big dino! It is very well built, has lots of functionality, and cool design — toy engineering alone is interesting.My sons and nephews (ages 3-8) all loved this dino toy.

The assembly of this toy is simple and quick, taking only five to ten minutes. The head is secured with two screws, while the legs and tail tip press into place. The shooting mechanism is safe for indoor play as the rings only travel a short distance. The toy includes three circular chips that can be launched from the dinosaur’s mouth, adding to its interactive features.The toy is substantial, and is a good size when fully assembled. It has an on/off switch and a “TRY ME” trigger that activates lights, sound effects, and side “frills” for a dynamic visual effect. A circular projector can also be launched from the mouth using a red trigger under the tail. The combination of its large size and interactive features makes it a captivating and well-designed toy.

As a parent, I was excited to see this toy. I still remember watching the original Jurassic Park movie on opening day, way back in the summer of 1993. One of the film’s most iconic Dinosaurs is the venom-spitting Dilophosaurus and this is a perfect toy that captures all the elements that made it so memorable.This will appeal to fans of the Jurassic films series AND anybody who just like Dinosaurs and cool toys.First off, this is a huge toy. It’s about the height and length of a medium-sized dog. It’s lightweight and sculpted and painted well. The fins on the top of the head are made out of a rubber material, so it is not likely to scratch anybody. The body is made out of quality materials and is a durable toy for the very young and up.The eyes light up and the mouth opens accompanied by some hissing sounds when you pretty the head’s trigger or the other on found at the end of the tail. The tail sports a trigger and turns clockwise to both open the mouth (which also shoots one of the venom-discs) and deploy the cheek flaps. You can lock the flaps down in place or turn it again to drop them.There is some assembly required, but it was very easy to put together. The venom-discs are loaded into a slot at the neck at the back of the head. Easy to refill. The discs do not fire out at a speed that would cause me to have any concerns. You can shoot them a decent distance but they are safe for kids and pets.I honestly struggle to think of any negatives with this toy. If you ever don’t want the noise and lights on, you can turn them off and the toy will still function as it should. It was well-received by my kids (ages 7 to 15) and my oldest (who is 21) wants to keep it in his room!

This feature, combined with its impressive size and interactive elements, makes it an engaging and well-crafted toy.

Fun Dino toy for kids
Didn’t take long to put it fully together, the plastic doesn’t feel too bad and I think it’ll stand up for while over time. Batteries were included and already installed. Has sound and lights up and shoots out little rings that go a decent distance but not too far that you’ll loose them if in a open area. It is entertaining and fun for those that love dino’s.

My son is obsessed with dinosaurs, and this toy has quickly become one of his favorites. The thrashing attack feature is really cool, and the lights and sounds make it even more exciting during playtime. Itâs sturdy enough to handle rough play, which is important with younger kids. Overall, itâs a fantastic toy that keeps my little one entertained for hours.

The toy arrived damaged and the box resealed. The left frill on the dinosaur only partially works. I hoped the frill was pinned in place somehow, not allowing it to flap while the toy was in the box. Alas, the frill is broken. Buyer beware
