Nice quality
This First Words Memory Game is a good memory game and helps toddlers with learning words. The pieces are sturdy and the pictures are well done and clear. Packaging not great but we put the pieces in a different box.
Helping Families –
The images are clear and colorful, which helps to keep kids engaged.
These CVC cards are great for young learners! The cards themselves are thick and durable, so they can withstand a lot of handling from little hands. We’ve been using them to play memory and matching games, and my child enjoys them. The one downside is the packaging. The cards come in a flimsy cardboard sleeve that isn’t very practical for storage. It would be much better if they came in a sturdy box that could hold up to repeated use.

Nice quality
This memory game is very fun for small children. The cards are very heavy durable and hold up to small hands. The pictures are vibrant and engaging. The set focuses on so many skills, from taking turns, vocabulary, and memory. Nice game!

Meh
These are okay. No real issues. Just mediocre, nothing special.

Good set of cards – great memory game
My toddler loves to match things up, so we figured this would be a fun set for her. The set is 30 pairs, for a total count of 60 cards. You lay them on a table flipped and you just have your child flip them over one at a time. Simple concept! The cards are thick and easy for a child’s hand to pick up and flip. The print quality is good and has vibrant colors. The only thing I would want is for a sturdier box or container for them. It comes in a folded sleeve with a flap to hold everything together, which I can foresee getting destroyed by kids.

Clear pictures/letters & nice, thick cards, but it needs a storage box
This is a super cute and simple memory game. I work with kindergarteners, so this will be perfect for when they move on from learning alphabet letters to sounding out CVC words. The cards are quite thick and I expect them to last a long time. There are no directions included with the game, but Memory is pretty standard. I figure we’ll lay them out upside down, but leave them turned front facing if it’s not a match to make things easier. I will be having the children sound out the words for me sound-by-sound, not just look at the picture. I love how the vowels are given their own border colors (short “a” words are one color card, short “e” words another, etc.). This way, in the beginning it will be easy to reduce the number of cards used by just grabbing out two or three colored sets instead of all five. The only downside is the packaging. It is basically an open envelope made of thin cardstock. I like to have the kids clean up their game when we are done, but they will have a very difficult time making six equally stacked piles, and they would not be able to close this on their own without the cards falling out everywhere. It really needs a box with a top.
