Powerful tool for kids
I recently purchased this game for my children and I was pleasantly surprised at the positive results we have seen. My children were able to learn how their thoughts, emotions and behaviors are all linked in a fun and interactive way. The game was easy to understand and well designed, with helpful graphics and an engaging story line. We felt that it was an effective way to help them learn how their actions can be influenced by their thoughts and feelings.

Fun, easy, quick, educational
I never write reviews but am making an exception. I see kids for play therapy and they loved (and learned) from this. Add it to your cart!!

Requires higher language skills
This game is designed for children who already have strong higher-level thinking skills. I initially chose it because I appreciated its focus on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques. However, itâs not well-suited for the children I work with, such as those with autism or language processing disorders. While I was able to simplify the questions in advance, this was time-consuming â something thatâs difficult to manage in a busy school setting. If I had realized how complex the card prompts were, I likely wouldnât have purchased it.

Great Thought-Provoking Game
I purchased this game for my 6-year-old to help her learn better self-regulation skills. She loves playing board games, so I thought it could be a good tool for her. So far, she loves playing it and calls it the “feelings game”. I like how the cards provoke thought and introspection. Some of the verbiage is a bit mature for her, so we sometimes need to rephrase the questions and prompts using vocabulary she can understand. The game itself is well-made. The game board is sturdy. However, it ripped in half the second time we put it away. We had some book-binding tape on hand, so I taped it back together and used it to reinforce the other folds. I also appreciate the thick and sturdy question/prompt cards. We appreciate that each stack of cards has a coordinating-organza bag to keep them organized in the box. In the future, purchasing booster packs of cards would be great to keep the prompts fresh and interesting.

Helps understanding people’s thoughts and emotions
I got this game because my 6 year old was having some emotional outburst and now its a family favorite. Not only do we learn about our 4 and 6 years old but learn about eachother as well. Some card are a little older than my kids but its easy to take a card and change its question to suit littles. Because I love hearing everyone’s thought we play in all different ways. I made a colored spinner with numbers and we’ll go to the playground and use the playground as our game board. It really is awesome having questions to hear your kids thoughts and feelings. It also helps you see how they see themselves so you can boost them in places. It made me realize my kids don’t compliment eachother very much, we always say nice thing but they don’t say them to eachother. So now I make sure to have them say things to help their relationship grow.

Kids love
This is a pricey game, but the quality is excellent and the kids I see for counseling really enjoy it. I don’t love some of the cards/prompts so I have rewritten a couple and taken a few out. Overall, though, a good purchase.
