Arrived broken, but WOULD be so, so cute
This is such an adorable puzzle, and for $9.99 itâs a great deal. Itâs not top notch quality, but if played with gently and taken care of, itâs a great learning tool. The colors are bright and eye catching. The uppercase letters are clear and in an easy to read âfontâ for new learners.That being said, mine arrived damaged. It arrived in an Amazon bubble envelope, and the puzzle itself was shrink-wrapped. At first glance, I realized that the letter A was broken inside the shrink wrap (see pics.) Doesnât seem like something that happened during transport. Total bummer, because I canât let my son play with the A until heâs older. Iâm thinking I might be able to superglue it, but right now itâs unusable. Also, as you can see, the letters are CLEARLY not made out of wood, but instead pressboard/particle board. Thatâs not the end of the world for me in general, but if it were actually WOOD, like the listing states, it probably wouldnât have broken either way?In general, Iâd actually still recommend this puzzle. For the price, itâs a really cute puzzle and would make a nice gift/nursery décor. Iâd recommend they start packaging it in a box instead of just the shrink wrap, though.
