Customers say
Customers find the flash cards effective for learning, with clear pronunciation and good functionality. The cards come with many pieces and are easy to understand, making them a great purchase for the price. However, customers disagree on the size, with some finding them too small. Moreover, the sound quality receives mixed feedback – while the sound is clear, some customers mention the volume isn’t loud enough to hear the words. Additionally, durability is a concern as the cards are very flimsy.

Greatest Toy for an Autistic Child
Amazing product that is a fraction of the cost of a speech tablet. I have been searching for a product like this for a long time. My six year old is severely autistic and he actually enjoys inserting the cards and listening to the words and sounds. It appears that some of the cards are for the UK or overseas or adults learning English. Some cards have words like Mercedes Benz or Maserati on them which my six year old won’t need to know for some time. Otherwise one of the best purchases that I have ever made for my son and a product that parents of autistic children could really benefit from.

Terrific Language Tool for Pre-Schoolers
Great tool to introduce proper word pronunciation to preschoolers & those with learning or language disabilities. Hearing & seeing the printed word along with the picture on the flash card is very helpful to strengthen understanding & connection. The female voice pronounces the word clearly in english. Some words are followed by the sound the item makes (ex. dog barking). Some of the words may be unfamiliar for preschoolers, for example dolphin, but itâs an excellent way to expand their vocabulary. The card reader itself is small enough for little hands & simple to operate. Depending on the child, adults may need to assist with inserting the cardboard cards straight into the reader so as not to cause damage. Overall itâs a helpful & fun learning tool.

Perfect for learning
Great for young kids to learn. Good quality. Cards could be a little sturdier but then it may be more difficult to insert. But over all super fun little gadget that can grow with child.

Voice is a little creepy. Cards are a little advanced
I bought this for my 2 year old and I think she can easily work the toy. She can identify some of the cards without the machine prior to using but a lot of the cards have weird words for the picture or just not common everyday words. I thought this would help with her speech but some words are kinda “left field” in the use category. Its still fun to use.

It could be great butâ¦EDITED REVIEW
Ok I got a replacement and I LOVE IT! Canât wait to give it to my granddaughter on her birthday!Itâs a great little thing. However, it is not loud enough to hear the words! I am returning it and getting another. I hope it is loud enough because I really like it. It comes with a carrying strap, which I will not have my 2 year old granddaughter use. Looks like it is supposed to hang around her neck? Iâm not sure but it looks perfect size to put over her head. Nope! If the next on works, Iâll revise my review. None of the reviews I read mention not being able to hear it. So I hope my next one is ok!

Small, Not intutitve
Not intuitive to use. It’s smaller than I thought, so it’s hard for my kiddo to use them without help. (He has trouble sliding the cards in), and the button to play the word is hard to notice for a child his age as well. I should have taken the word “pocket” speech therapy literally. The words are not well enunciated, which is sad because I bought them, so my son could practice saying the words alongside the voice. The cards are also kind of strange as one is red wine. The cards are also double-sided with different front and back words, which I did not expect. It would be nicer if the card had the same word front and back, so it didn’t matter which was card was slid in. (Granted this is a complaint because my son is on the younger side. Perhaps an older two-year-old would be more discerning. )The plastic casing feels cheap, which leads me to believe it would not survive a drop.

Awesome for toddlers!
I got this for my 2 year old for her birthday and it was a huge hit!! It encourages her to discover new words and practice her current words. I was so pleasantly surprised how quickly she has picked up so many new words in a matter of a couple weeks just by playing with this toy. 100% recommend!
