Fun toy, but no instructions
This is a fun stacking game that could be played by all ages (not under three, though, due to small pieces). The set doesnât come with any instructions except the description on the box, which is written in laughably poor English:â1. Difficulty with unsteady pedestal Decided who is the first and one by one. 2. Loaded the blocks on the unsteady pedestal. Using a card makes it ever more thrilling game. 3. Lost the one who broke uo earlier.âThe cards are also phrased awkwardly: âPut this shape of the block on the stage.â âA favorite block sitting on the stage.â Without explanation, there are three cards in the deck that are the same front and back. I thought at first maybe they were supposed to be âwild cards,â but they are identifiable because they donât have the white border around them that the backs of the other cards have. Then there is a fourth odd card that looks like those three cards on one side (no border), but looks like the backs of the rest of the deck on the other (with a border). The quality of the pieces is okay. I donât really like the angry expression of the âdinosaur,â but it does look exactly as the manufacturerâs photos show. Everything is just loose in the box (not bagged), except the cards are rubber-banded to the âpedestalâ (base) of the set. After I dumped everything out, I thought the dinosaur was missing, but it was just wedged tightly in the box. To rebox the set, put the dinosaur back in first, the cards and base on the bottom, then pile all the blocks on top. Itâs a close fit, but if you give the box a little shake, the blocks will settle sufficiently that you can close the box.Since there are no instructions, youâll have to agree on your own set of rules ahead of time. Can players use their other hand to steady things while they place the block? If a player starts to put a piece in one location, can they change their mind and put it somewhere else? How long does the stack have to stay upright after the last play? You might want to adjust your rules for younger players. For example, younger players can use their other hand to steady things; older players canât.If you are wondering which set to get, the 48-piece is probably enough, especially if this will be played primarily by younger players. The dinosaur gets pretty tippy by about 20 blocks, if not sooner. But you could get the 64-piece set if your kids tend to lose pieces or if you want them to be able to play with the blocks as just building blocks.Overall, the quality is fine for the price, but the lack of instructions and the ridiculous grammatical errors on the box and cards are pretty disrespectful towards potential buyers. Also, I donât like the angry expression on the dinosaur. For those reasons, Iâm giving the game three stars (âitâs okayâ), but itâs certainly a usable game.

Balancing fun
This is a really cool little game, great for young players and older ones too. Balance your bricks and don’t knock them over. The kids will love it.
