so worth it for funko/dbz fans
This was awesome. My family loves funkos and dbz so this was a perfect advent calendar for us. Each funko was technically different, though there were a few of the same character in different poses and a handful where it was the same character/pose but one was a different style (like shiny, or fuzzy). We were surprised that they didn’t include a couple types of characters we would have thought would be there, but we were not disappointed in any of the ones included. They were great quality, everything you’d expect for little funkos. The only downside is fighting with my husband about which ones we want and hiding them from my toddler (who also loves dbz) so he doesn’t break them lol

We usually get the cheap chocolate calendars, but I wanted something of quality for some time now. My friend had shared this and considering I’m the biggest Dragon Ball fan I can’t believe I didn’t already own this. I got one for my friend too and she loves it as well. The box is sturdy and looks great by itself. It’s only October but I cheated and opened one compartment (which was tricky to do without breaking it) just to see the figure and I love it. It’s a fun way to count down to the big day and has a great variety of characters to surprise myself with. I hope they also come out with more as I’d love to see more characters like Orange Piccolo one day <3 this is an absolute must have for any DB fan!

The whole box was well designed and fun to unbox! All characters were cute and pretty and very well detailed! The size it cute and collect more and enough space to add more to my desk!

My kid BEGGED me for this advent calendar, so I caved. He was excited to open one door each day and see what was inside. The little guys are bigger than I expected, and he’s got them displayed on a shelf in his room. They do tend to fall over, as they are quite top-heavy. Price was high, but I realize this is a 2020 calendar and we bought it in 2022, so it is what it is. Docking one star because at least one or two of the items inside were duplicates, which bummed my kid out. Don’t bum my kid out at Christmas! haha. Seriously, overall he loved it and was super excited about it. Keeping the box so we can pass it on to another kid when he moves on to the next anime obsession.

Itâs awesome except one design aspect.
Mrs. Tucker here. I ordered this for our autistic 12 year old son. He loves all things anime and this thing is the bomb. The figures are adorable and he knows all of their names. Everyday we get to see him light up when he gets a new one. No duplicates by day nine. My only complaint and it wasnât really an issue since I told him not to again is that you can access an unopened bag from another unopened door from an opened door. The whole tray slides out of the box in one piece. Maybe consider gluing the front frame to the tray? Otherwise ten stars.

Funkos pocket that come inside are good quality. We also bought the funko avengers calendar and they seem to be less detailed but the box quality is better for avengers one). They are very nice and exciting to include in Christmas if you are a Funko lover. Already planing with my partner which new one to get for next year.
