Immediate joy
My 5 year old loves octopuses so much so that he tied 8 fake worms together and carried that around for months. He wanted a toy that moved like an octopus and this was the closest we could find.To tell you this toy has brought a smile to my son daily would be an understatement. He loves it in water and land. And because you get more than one, we donât have to listen to two kids fighting over it.10/10 would purchase again.

The inside sponge only lasted 2 times squishing them. It almost disintegrated completely. Very disappointed grandkids. Its way too pricey to only use twiceEdit: I changed my review from 3 stars to 5 for excellent customer service.. They sent replacements. I wonât be able to actually use these until the grandkids come again but am impressed with their quick response

These are cute and they make pool time a fun time. They float well but the sponge or whatever is inside it has shrunk already in one of them so it’s a bummer. I’d expect them to hold up better for the price.

Octopus water toys
Those are simply adorable. My 3 year old great granddaughter loves them in the bath tub. I bought them for the pool & vacation in July – but she couldnât wait to play with them.

Breaks easily
Sponge inside doesnât expand again after first squeeze. And tentacles break off really easily. Not worth the money.

Internal sponge does not hold up and they grow mold/mildew
I would take a picture or take a video of this product. However, I did throw them away several days ago because I could not stand the black mildew that they were growing in the bathtub despite cleaning them with bleach multiple times. I bought these back in February for a vacation that my husband, myself, and my three small children were taking. I thought it would be fun to have a new bath toy while we were vacationing. They were a 5/5 when we first opened them. Brightly colored, soft texture, and the sponge like material in side the head held a lot of water which my kids left, squeezing out of. However, within a couple days sponge quickly be in to disintegrate. I did take out the sponge and replace it with a standard kitchen sponge, which I had to cut and have to get inside the head – it worked for a couple weeks, but it just wasnât the same as before. I then took the sponges out and just let my kids play with the shell of the toy. That work for a couple weeks until it started to grow mold/mildew. I suspect it started to grow this because without the sponge inside the head, the head collapse on its level leaving lots of small crevices for water to pool.
