Great puzzles for ages 3+
Great buy! My daughter has loved these little puzzles. I love that there are 3 different sets, the number of pieces increases with each set so she can progress as she goes.

Itâs a cool puzzle but
My toddler liked the toy and I did too but I thought the pieces would be bigger, also the pieces can fold very easily so a lot of the pieces have already been bent either my accident or my toddler did it himself

A great approach to help Age 3+ children develop their visual analytical skills.
As part of their cognition development, the assembly of puzzles is a great way to help young children develop their logical minds, especially their visual analytical skills. Of all the puzzles I have seen for very young children, I believe BenBen Puzzle is a great one for teaching a child *how to assemble a puzzle. The other puzzle-makers just do not get it. You cannot assume a 2 or 3-year old child can jump (not literally, hopefully!) into a pile of pieces and assemble a 70- or 100-piece puzzle. Thatâs like teaching someone to swim by tossing them into a deep swimming pool. For the youngest child (3-years) I believe it is better to show them a step-by-step process with increasing levels of difficulty. The BenBen Puzzle has 12 animals having four distributed into three levels of puzzles. Each one is shaped like an animal composed of 3, 4, or 5 pieces. The four Ocean Animals are 3 pieces each; the four Farm Animals are 4 pieces each; and the four Safari Animals are 5 pieces each. With a little imagination, this puzzle is set up so that you can have the child assemble puzzles of 3, 4, 5, 12, 16, 20, ⦠mixed and matched animals all the way up to 48 pieces of difficulty! For example, you can (1) Assemble single animal puzzles in increasing levels of difficulty, (2) Group all the animals in one category into three piles, (3) Group one of each category into four piles, or (4) put them all together into a 48-piece puzzle. After try one day of an Advent Puzzle. In the past we have also found that Advent puzzles are good for illustrating the puzzle assembly process, since the pieces are collected to make a contiguous patch consisting of 21 or 42 pieces, depending on whether it is a 500-piece or 1000-piece puzzle. With other puzzles, I have also taken a âpatchâ having a simple image, such as a Snowman or an Angel to cultivate interest. My only nit to pick is that the advertising on this page suggests that the puzzle is appropriate for a 2-year-old child. This is wrong. If you look at the box, the manufacturer has printed on the front of the box: “Ages 3+”. —–>> Vendor, you would do well to EXAMINE your merchandise before you rush out to sell it!Again, this is a great way to teach puzzle assembly.

Great For Developing Critical Thinking Skills
The BenBen puzzle set is an excellent set of puzzles for helping little ones work on spatial, logical, and sequential skills. The three levels of color coded puzzles allow for little ones to “graduate” on to harder and more complex puzzles. The pieces are sturdy and large enough for little ones to grasp. The large pieces are also great for special needs students to work on fine motor skills and sequencing. These puzzles have been a hit at my house and allow for lots of celebration when my special needs child can complete them independently.

Great for toddlers
The animal puzzles were great quality and fun for kids. My two year old niece needed a lot of help, but it still was engaging and my 3 year old daughter was able to build the puzzles and really enjoyed putting the pieces together. The size of the pieces were perfect and I love how it built individual animals instead of one big puzzle. Perfect gift for toddlers!
