Great, unique gift for kids
I purchased something similar to this for a summer program at our church last year and it was a big hit with the elementary aged kids. I got these for my grandkids. They are having a great time creating with this kit. The instructions are easy to follow. It reminded me a lot of some of the plastic or edible creatures we use to make as kids years ago. Lots of fun!

Quality 3 Stars, but Fun 5 Stars!
Received this today, and our four kids immediately dove in! Pretty simple to set up and execute. The sticker they have you place on the outside for the water marking was inaccurate. We used a glass measuring cup, and it was a whole notch above the line. After adding the water, you add in the Magic Powder until dissolved. I would recommend using warm water instead of cold water. We saw that tip on the packet after the fact, and it took 6 minutes for the Magic Powder to dissolve completely. After that, they simple wet the mold, and then filled with the gel. One of our molds had a piece missing from it, but it seemed to fill ok. Two of our gels did not have the safety seal like the others, and some gel went into the top. The gels were easy enough for our littlest guy to squeeze. The kids had fun using different colors to design. Once finished, you simply set into the water mixture, and then shift side to side, waiting for it to release. Here comes the hardest part! They have to wait 30-60 mins before playing with their new creatures! We did the full 60 mins, which was pretty hard for our little guy to wait. It says you can reuse the magic water, which we figured would be fine since they only did four total. However, their second set of four didn’t fully set by the 60 min. mark. They are currently letting them sit for longer in it. We also had some design lift that was a different color from the rest. The solid colored or two colored designs worked best. Overall, the kids all enjoyed making them, even our 14yo boy!

Fun and cute activity!
These were actually really fun for the kids to make-theyâre water animals and not gels that harden so just be aware !My kids played with them for awhile, then we put them in the container with some water on a paper towel to keep them moist and they are still good today. They probably wonât last too long but covering them and keeping moisture on them worked for us! Theyâve not meant to be forever – like a bath bomb – you use it once and itâs done. Overall Iâd recommend this – the kids really had more fun making these than anything else -so definitely a new experience for us!

Aweome Concept But Needs Some Improvements
This product took over 2 weeks to be delivered. Upon opening the box which contained bottles of the liquid acrylic gel, it looked very interesting and was packaged quite nicely. My husband and I carefully followed the directions with our grandkids and the steps were pretty easy. Having to wait almost 45 minutes for the gel to set was a rather long amount of time for young kids. Upon removing them from the molds (my husband carefully did this step) the legs of some of the animals fell off and other appendages fell off, too. A few of them remained intact, but most were in pieces. Also they need to be stored in water after they’ve been formed. Not very impressed with this product. Cute idea, but too many issues surfaced with this product to be a fun & simple craft for young kids.

Fun for any ages!
Iâm a grown adult and still had fun creating these water creatures. Very easy process to make them although I had to find a different tub as the one I got was cracked. Donât expect much quality from this bundle. The powder and gel all worked well though and I created plenty of little animals. Youâre supposed to keep these in water to prevent them from drying but I put mine in a ziplock bag and 2 days later they still look fine.

Fun project, but doesnât last
The kit seemed super easy to set up. I didnât like how you had to attach the measurement sticker to the side of the container. I used that as the guide, but next time I plan on using a measuring cup. Also, I almost poured the magic powder into the water from reading the instructions until I skimmed and read the last step on the back of the package to use warm water when I already filled up the tub with cold water. The yellow gel bottle was missing the safety seal and some of the gel was in the nozzle. My two daughters loved designing their squishies in the molds. After we were done dropping them all into the bucket after releasing them, my youngest had the hardest time being willing to wait the full 60 minutes. Unfortunately, even after waiting the 60 minutes, the finished product didnât hold well for most of them. We found that the ones where we used two colors fell apart quicker than the single colors. My youngest was squeezing them, and they broke apart easily. Overall, I like how there is enough gel and magic power to do the project a few times, but I am a bit disappointed at the final product. Hopefully, the 2nd round goes better.
