Super fun, colorful, and unique game!
Not too hard to learn but involves just enough strategy. I love the bright colors. Well made. Love it!

I enjoyed this game!
So I bought this game for my husband for Christmas and it came extremely late like in January so that was kind of sucky. But that doesn’t take away from the game itself it is actually a really fun game and I can see why it won awards. I played with my husband and my brother-in-law my brother-in-law wasn’t so interested in playing it. My husband was on the fence like yeah I could see how it would be fun and I’ll keep playing with you. And then there was me who was like oh my gosh this is actually really fun. It is a strategy game I was trying to just make sure like I could increase myself without sabotaging the other players but the other players were looking at my future stuff trying to sabotage me because well that’s the kind of people I was playing with. The instructions are kind of long and lengthy. But I looked for a how to play on YouTube and there are some really long ones and then there was some shorter ones and I found this one that was like only three or four minutes long it was just a really quick video of how to play just like the quick like you need to know this and I was able to pick up what I needed to do with that and then scan through the rule book. And I picked it up pretty fast.So basically there’s three routes The first round you have all of your tiles in the middle and on each little circle and when it’s your turn you can take either from the center or from one of the circles but if you take a color you have to take all of the colors and then you are going to fill them in onto your line. The first round is just going around in this until all of the tiles are played. once all the tiles are played you get to move on and the goal of collecting the tiles is to fill out your line you will see there is a shaded spot there’s a 5 4 3 2 1 spot. if you have successfully filled them in with all of one color the next round you will get a point.So the next round if you have fully filled out a line you get to move one of the pieces over to its corresponding spot. And as you do you get to take a point if there is any other one in the row or column you also get to take those points So if you move the blue piece over and then there’s already two others down vertically from it you get three points if there is one horizontal from it you also get another point but you get to count your first one twice cuz you count everything in the horizontal row you get those points and then everything in the vertical row and you get those points. Then from there whoever has the one player token gets to start the next round. And they randomly fill in all of the spots again. Then you play the first round again filling up the floor and then moving them over and you keep doing play one and play two until somebody gets a horizontal line all the way filled. Then you finish the game and you add up the rest of your points.it was a little confusing to start with but once I got the hang of it it was actually really quite fun because you have to strategically plan out when you are going to collect certain things. And kind of plan what your opponents are going to do because they might take what you’re looking for and then you might not be able to finish your row. I’m excited to keep playing this game. And don’t be intimidated by the long instructions it’s actually pretty simple once you get the hang of it.I hope my review has been helpful. If it has been helpful, please hit the helpful button.

Easy & fun game
A game on the east side of moderate but has some interesting strategy elements. Great for couples or groups.

A beautiful and engrossing game that’s reasonably easy to learn.
AZUL is a gorgeous piece of work. I’ve never opened the box without having someone, gamer or “civilian,” say OOOOH! AAAAH! When they see it. The rules are reasonably simple, once you explain the two-phase nature of every round of play; however, there is a bit of wonkiness with the scoring. It looks simple but there’s enough strategy and variety in it to reward multiple plays. There’s a lot of room within this deceptively simple setup to try different styles of play. Your game experience could be contemplative OR aggressive, depending on you and your opponents’ temperaments. It’s possible to play this game as a kind of “multi-player solitaire” wherein you and your opponents are just trying to make pretty pictures on your own player boards. Or you can go on the attack and do your best to deny your opponents the tiles they need and leave them with a bunch of penalty tiles they are forced to take.If you are just getting further into the board game hobby (moving past “gateway games”) and getting into something deeper, or perhaps have a friend who is just getting into it, this is a great game to ask for or give as a gift. It’s maybe a bit too complex for younger players or for people who are complete novices in the new realm of board games, but, hey, they can always just admire the pretty tiles. I would give it five stars but a) I hardly ever do that unless a game is a stone-cold classic and b) the rule book was not entirely helpful. But don’t let that stop you from getting this excellent game, especially at a reasonable price.

La verdad es que el juego es bastante bueno, tanto la versión normal como la de viaje. En un principio puede ser complicado de entender pero sobre la marcha del juego se hace fácil y divertido. La mayoría de personas con las que he jugado les gusta tanto que después no quieren jugar otras cosas. Muy entretenido.El aspecto del juego en sí es muy bonito, las piezas son de plástico y algunas con impresión, con muy bellas. Los tableros son deuda tipo de cartón grueso y resistente. La caja viene con sus respectivas bolsitas para separar las piezas y mantener un orden.Muy bien hecho.

The strategy is pretty simple but this makes it very competitive as your all attempting the same scoring combos while blocking your opponents.Tiles and board and beautifully made and it’s enjoyable to both hold and play.

This is a really cool game to play with friends and family. Game play is not very difficult to understand and the game lasts around 30 minutes, so people can get used to it by 2nd game. The game is part luck and part strategy, with more emphasis on planning. The quality of pieces and the board is premium. One thing that we noticed is how beautiful everything looks.
